Why the pharmacy name matters
The FDA points out that a patient may not know whether an online custom-medicine maker has the right license and follows the required rules.

Words before decisions.
Plan the visit
Bring the offer and the parts that are unclear. Ask for answers in words you can repeat back.
What is the full drug name? What health problem are we trying to treat? Why was this product chosen over the other options?
Which exact product is approved? If the medicine is custom-made, what need requires the change? What evidence fits the proposed use?
How will progress be judged? What would lead to a different plan?
Who will check my health? What kind of health professional are they? Do they have permission to treat me in Arizona? Which pharmacy makes and sends the medicine?
How do I ask another question after the visit? If a room visit or test is needed, who arranges it? Can I get a written copy of the plan?
The FDA notes that people ordering custom medicines online may not know who actually produced them.
Does the quote include medicine, assessment, tests, shipping and follow-up? Which charges repeat? What is the price after the opening offer?
What is billed if no prescription is issued? What happens if insurance declines? How can I cancel, and is there a commitment period?
Ask for the answer in writing. Leave space beside each question for the reply.
